Company Overview
Streamtech Systems Technologies, Inc. is a Philippine telecommunications
company providing fixed-line broadband and digital connectivity solutions for
residential, small business, and enterprise customers. Its services include
fiber-to-the-home internet, bundled internet and cable television offerings,
and dedicated connectivity solutions for large-scale organizations.
The company traces its roots to Planet Cable, which was established in 2000
and initially served cable television customers in Cavite and Laguna. In 2017,
Streamtech was founded under the leadership of Manuel Paolo A. Villar and
secured a 25-year Congressional franchise in 2018, authorizing it to operate
a nationwide telecommunications system.
Streamtech formally launched its fixed-line broadband operations in 2020,
strengthening its network capabilities through global peering partnerships
and completing the acquisition of Planet Cable to expand its service
footprint. In 2021, the company further broadened its media presence
through Planet Cable’s acquisition of Advanced Media Broadcasting System,
the operator of ALLTV and AllRadio 103.5.
